LOOKING FOR A NEW MATTRESS, AND
STILL CONFUSED WHICH ONE TO BUY ?Do you find buying a mattress a lunatic job ? Well do not be hassled! Help
is here. Be sure of what you are looking for. Keep the following points in mind to make a
sound investment for sound sleep .

SHOULD A MATTRESS BE FIRM OR SOFT
FOR ME ?
Doctors may recommend
hard beds for those with back problems; but beware! A healthy person may develop back
aches on hard beds , since they do not support upper contours of your body. A good
mattress will evenly support all the pressure points with more support in the lumber and
thigh areas than in the shoulders, hips and lower leg areas.
TIP: Never compare the mattress by sitting , walking
or just pressing the mattress. Just make your self as comfortable as you want to be while
you are asleep. So lie down at every angle and try to feel the support & comfort for
at least 5-10 minutes.
WHY ARE BRANDS
ALWAYS SO CONFUSING ?
First get the basic
information about the mattress you are paying for. Also check if the compression levels of
the mattress conform to your body needs. this would help you distinguish between brands
and comfort levels.
TIP: Always remember: Greater the number of springs,
greater is the comfort.
I STILL GET
RESTLESS ON MY NEW MATTRESS ! PLEASE HELP.
Your bedroom is your
refuge. The bedroom environment you create can make a difference in how well you sleep. Is
your bedroom ready for a night of restful sleep?
TIP: Pay attention to these factors: Noise, Light
Level, Temperature, Humidity,Security, Clocks, Decor and Cleanliness, Nightclothes, Bed
Sheets, Pillow Talk, Pillow Test etc.
MY PARTNER'S EACH
MOVEMENT DISTURBS MY SLEEP EASILY AND SPILLS MY CUP OF COFFEE, EVEN ON A KING SIZE BED,
PLEASE HELP !
Don't waste your money on
an unnecessarily large mattress. Look for a mattress which provides movement isolation
& better compression but is not hard and jumpy.
TIP: Lesser the waist of the spring more hard &
jumpy would be the mattress. More the waist of the spring more is the compression and
comfort.
WHAT KIND OF
MATTRESS IS RECOMMENDED FOR BACK ACHES ?
For best spinal posture a
mattress which gives balanced support for areas of more weight & that of less weight
is important. Do not fall in for a mattress which offers zonal compression. Since you do
not know when you might move out of the right zone in your sleep & when your child
might sleep in your place .Look for one which offers more points of adjustments to your
body contours and weight, no matter where on the mattress you lie.
TIP: More the number of springs better is the
adjustment of the mattress to your body curves.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT
I AM NOT BEING CHEATED ON THE NAME OF A SPRING MATTRESS?
Compare the number of the
springs in the mattress (Don't be fooled by the number of springs in a mattress &
those in the foundation ) . Work out the cost per spring. Lesser the springs lower should
be the cost of the mattress.

TIP: Don't pay more for less. |
